Davy Jones' Day Off Pg 34 by Swashbookler Davy Jones' Day Off Pg 34 by Swashbookler
When I was drawing the thumb nail sketch and doing the dialogue, the words just sounded like a song so I turned it into your classical cheezy cartoon sing a long. And what sing a long isn't complete without those barbershop hats and canes. But then Jones spares us from that. YAY ^^ I hope you like the little bouncing sea shell. I think that last frame took the most time to acheive the mildew look on the walls and the steam and all that. I'm tired now. *zzzzzzzzzz*

This makes me think of some 50s Broadway performance in the style of Frank Sinatra.

Your sense of humor and writing is similar to Robert Asprin's! You wouldn't have happened to have read his books, have you?

Lessee... the Theives' World series, The Myth Adventures series, Dragons Wild, the Wartorn series, the Phule's Company series, and quite a few books, trilogies, and series more.

His most notable series is Myth Adventures. Very funny. Especially the adaptation comic made with Phil Foglio...

Another trademark humor series is Phule's Company.

Please keep in mind that some of the plots and dialogue in his books are rather intelligent and/or in-depth and off-beat...

Mmm; you do that.

If you have a short attention span(or deep pockets), I suggest getting the graphic novel. It has a hefty $40 price, but it's well worth it.

If you're more of a bookworm, I suggest getting the anthology Myth Adventures Volumes(get 1, then 2 if you're interested after reading 1).

If you're a cheapskate, or don't have much time, go to your local library and pick up Another Fine Myth(the first Myth book).

Well, the volumes are about two & 1/2 inches thick. Still, the library(or a savings account) is(are) your best bets, if that's the case.
