Let me tell you a couple things about George cuz he's awesome.
~He and Knox were the only ones who never went home through out the entire 8 years of the war.
~ He's credited (by my American Heritage professor) as the second person in history to willingly give up power (as in, his troops were going to over throw congress and make him king and he stopped them.)
~And he is also credited (by my professor) as being the only person in history to give up power TWICE. (serving only two terms when everyone wanted him to serve three)
(I think it's three times because he also went to congress after the war was over and resigned as general)
~ he freed his slaves in his will.
~He was BULLET PROOF! Seriously, the native Americans were scared of him for this.
